WhatsApp Web Introducing Media Hub Tool: Features Users Can Expect

WhatsApp Media Hub tool
WhatsApp is set to launch a new tool in its web version. Once activated, the tool called ‘Media Hub’ will allow users to view all exchanged photos, videos, documents, and links in a dedicated section of the web app. This feature will make it easier to quickly find old media files and manage them more efficiently, according to Wabetainfo, a website that covers WhatsApp features.
According to Wabetainfo, a prototype of the tool has already been added to the Android beta version of WhatsApp. Once launched, the ‘Media Hub’ tab will appear under the ‘Communities’ section in the side panel of the WhatsApp web version. Clicking on this tab will allow users to view photos, videos, documents, and web links sorted into separate categories.
A search bar will also be placed at the top of the Media Hub. This will allow users to quickly find specific photos, videos, or documents by typing keywords into the search bar. Additionally, users will be able to see the sender’s name and the date the file was sent. If desired, users can select multiple files at once using the tool to delete or forward them to others.
According to WhatsApp, the Media Hub tool is still under development. Therefore, it will not be available to beta users at this time. If everything goes well, the tool may soon be launched experimentally in the beta version of the web app.
