Microsoft Launches AI Assistant for Gamers with These Exciting Features

Microsoft Copilot for Gaming AI assistant
Many people regularly play games on their smartphones. With mobile gamers in mind, Microsoft is launching an AI assistant called “Copilot for Gaming.” The company has already integrated the assistant on a trial basis into the beta version of the Xbox mobile app. Initially, selected users in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore will be able to use the AI assistant on smartphones running iOS and Android operating systems.
“Copilot for Gaming” is primarily designed to assist gamers with various tasks during gameplay. Using this AI assistant, gamers will be able to view their in-game achievements and analyze their gaming history. Moreover, based on a gamer’s interests, the assistant will recommend new games and offer tips to help them succeed in those games.
Microsoft has announced that the Copilot for Gaming app will feature a chatbot-based interface where users can also choose their preferred voice. It will function as a “second screen” on mobile devices, providing additional information and assistance without interrupting the main gaming experience. In the future, Copilot for Gaming will be further developed into a full-fledged AI gaming coach.
Xbox’s Principal Program Manager Taylor O’Malley stated that this assistant can review a user’s gaming style and answer various game-related questions. Additionally, it can provide personalized advice based on the gamer’s account, play style, and achievements.
